2015 The Informer


About 70 members of the association Tyrius housewives colonial 6 cinemas Xativa have recently participated in a cooking colonial 6 cinemas workshop eat 'recycled' organized by the Consortium for Waste Management, COR. This activity colonial 6 cinemas forms part of the campaign to raise awareness of recycling and environmental colonial 6 cinemas habits COR began in January last year.
In this workshop the participants were able to learn the hands of chefs in the restaurant Typical Alameda city, José Vicente and Jaime Arnau Bellver different tricks to reuse leftover food normally found in a refrigerator and prepare new dishes. For example, participants learn how to create a sauce with vegetables and cheese leftovers of a pot of lentils to make a pizza with various ingredients from the fridge and the pantry or making dessert with pulp squeezed oranges, among other recipes.
For the COR president, Vicente Parra, this activity "awareness through educational and entertaining practice, the meaning and the value of one of the three R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) both advocate from COR habits as essential for a sustainable society: the reuse of products which helps reduce the amount of waste "and added that" we will continue to promote this type of activity with both groups and associations we request it and through our new Environmental Classroom. "
