Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, best known as Virginia Tech or VT, was founded as a public land-grant university in 1872. Virginia Tech is located in Blacksburg, Virginia. As a student at VT, you will never have a problem finding something to do! You can walk around the Virginia Tech’s beautiful campus and make a stop at The Duckpond and take in the amazing sites, barker brooks head to a football or basketball game, or even head down to Main Street to go to one of the numerous bars and restaurants and shops.
