After a bad as I was reading The yellow eyes of crocodiles, needed death and destruction and the first book that came to mind was this. I did not know the plot and only had in mind the aesthetics of the film (which I have not seen), the guy who has a head full of pins.
The beginning is a bit confusing, at least to me it seemed to me. A guy, Frank, a box that resembles a Rubik's cube that hides an entire world. 4 Cenobites (whatever that is) that can provide pleasure. However, their definition of pleasure is far from human and ends up suffering great agony. Will Julia, the wife of his brother, which will provide the blood needed to escape this world, but what will kill for it?
Not too descriptive, but still, it is not suitable for sensitive corner display case stomachs. It was an entertaining read, and yet, I have not convinced the characters. For one, Frank, which activates the call box and the Cenobites, I can not believe someone is so obsessed with carnal pleasure to play with things that are not known; but this is my thing, and considering that there are people who practice BDSM, until I can come to believe. But the attitude of Julia. She is married to the brother of the main character, Rory, and yet is very hung because Frank once had sex was almost a rape and she admits she has been idealizing time. Sorry? A guy basically rapes you and you fall in love with him. Very logical whole.
It's a simple, brief novel, which, honestly, I would not recommend unless you like long, long terror / gore. Perhaps expecting something else. However, I liked it, but has not seemed good enough to recommend.

According walked in, I was thinking that I know that title ... Until reading the story I realized it was Hellraiser. Lei will make the book a year and a half, and left me quite disappointed. I saw the movie a few years and make good, entertaining and longer. What happens is I BELIEVE that the movie was said to the sister of Frank had been his girlfriend, I'm not sure but is that it sounds o_o while I saw and not remember, but it sounds to me that implied that had had an affair beyond sex, but no idea, go to: S do not think I read that the movie and left me as 'ok', and why I like horror and gore ...
