Plex: Immediately Streaming on Chrome Cast
Plex was often visiting this blog. The Media Server software is available for Linux, OS X, Windows, and also for the Synology NAS, also we have mobile apps for iOS and Android available by which you can watch the original content in the form of pictures, music and videos.
Has been the support Chrome cast only for paying customers with Plex pass, we announced today that now all users have access to that mode. Means: iOS or Android, the player software fire up Chrome Cast select the top right corner as the destination and enjoy media. The support Chrome Cast Not only is new, but also the support for Shuffle for large media libraries in iOS and much more.
How does the whole thing fails on my Synology NAS compared to DS Video app, I'll write tomorrow, because at the time of this article (20:50 clock) were not yet live updates from Plex for Android and iOS. That's sometimes a great thing! I look forward to your test, Plex is for me THE reason why I want to have a Chrome Cast. Then I can finally replace and do everything from the Chrome cast my somewhat lame living room PC.
That's nice, but Plex is still not clear with the "new" poor CPU - thus I can not unfortunately install on my new Synology DS 414 ... very enttäuschent
1a) I dekativiere the ad blocker once on day and click on an advertisement. 1b) The Ad-Blocker is always disabled and I click once per day on an advertisement. 2a) If I click it anyway no advertising, activate the ad blocker prefer. 2b) If I click it anyway no advertising, disable the ad blocker prefer.
I wonder for some time. If only count clicks, then it would not matter if I turn him briefly. But if also counts how many times the advertisement is simply displayed, then the ad-blocker sarah barker alone would thereby already harmful.
Have me a few weeks ago also loaded Plex on my DS 213 +. Now I will stay again at DS video. Plex was on my Android devices extrems lame to get running on my LG only modded sarah barker firmware for USB. The added value through better meta-information I need not really.
So slowly seem to get a Chrome sarah barker Cast support all multimedia apps. Just now I got an update for the Vevo App. With the new features, among others, support for Chrome Cast is listed.
