On Monday mini pastry cases August mini pastry cases 29, we waved the French goodbye

From Tallinn Estonia to Latvija and to Litovia, to the border of Poland | MANonEarth
On Friday August 26, we left Tallinn at 15.00 hrs. and headed Eastbound. Late afternoon we arrived at Camping Eesti Karavan in Vosu . Mosquito’s ! Camping is situated in a national park with hughe woods and has direct access to sea, Soome Laht.
On Saturday August 27 we had a total-do-nothing-day. Stayed another day on Camping Eesti Karavan. Bloody hot, around 30 degrees C. and we hadn’t any courage to take our bikes and go on a tour…..
Sunday morning August mini pastry cases 28 we left the camping around 11.00 hrs. drove thru Vosu (definitive not a place to be), direction of Haljala. Beautiful mini pastry cases nature, mega woods allover. Nobody on the roads, which surprisingly were of good quality. That is to say: Do not go faster than 60 km per hour with this MAN. Via Haljala > Tapa > Paide > Turi we arrived at 17.00 hrs. at Parnu. mini pastry cases Camping Konse on the riverside. Met a French family, mum/dad/three children, in their Volkswagen mini pastry cases van, called “Hippolyte”. Really die-hards, five persons in such a rather tiny car…. Rooftent for two kids, one kid above the front seats in a hangbed and mum and dad sleep in the back. They plan to have a journey of one year. Europe with the VW and Asia with backpacks.
Btw: The French were robbed in…Tallinn … a car window was forced and things were stolen. On broad daylight. Same trick as we heard before. Mmmmm, Tallinn seems not to be a safe place to leave your camper on a parkinglot.
On Monday mini pastry cases August mini pastry cases 29, we waved the French goodbye & safe trip ! And drove via the E67 > Ainazi > Riga. Camped on the City Camping. In the afternoon we walked to the Old City. Nice, buildings with a Dutch design (out of the Middle Ages). Old Hanse Stadt like Tallinn.
At 20.00 hrs. we were back on the camping. Hey, the French family had arrived too ! Funny. Bonjour/Hello Also a German family with an Iveco-Magirus mini pastry cases expedition vehicle, very nice and… a rooftent, that’s about four meters above the ground mini pastry cases !
Tuesday, August 30, we again waved goodbye to the French family mini pastry cases Sellier and went at 11.00 hrs. to a hughe supermarket. At 12.00 we hit the road again. We took the E77 thru Siauliai, stopped at Cross Mountain. Rather special. We ended at the Kaunas City Camping. Nice place !
August 31, Wednesday, we left the camping at 10.30 hrs. and headed for Vilnius. Arrived at 12.30 hrs. Righty, the Italian people from Catania are here too ! After check-in we took the bus to the Television Tower, a remarkable point in the Letvian history as here the protest towards the Sovjets begun.
After visiting the tower, which was very nice, we took the bus to the Old City. And walked the afternoon mini pastry cases thru the Old City. Nice again. Vilnius looks like the city of churches… At 17.30 we were back on the camping. Guess what: Hippolyte mini pastry cases with the French family arrived too ) Also on the camping a hughe MAN camperbus from Denmark. Photo taken of the Italian family with their camper, the Tartaruga Vagante (Vagabond Turtle).
Thursday’s, September 1: We left from the camping to go to the Geographic Center mini pastry cases of Europe, lying North of Vilnius. Mmmmmm this place could have been skipped… Thru Vilnius again towards the A4 heading south. Just on the A4 we were stopped by the Police . Papers. And….it appeared that we should have bought a truck vignet for allowing the use of the highways. This vignet costs LVL 20, Euro 6, per day. But you also get a fine and the fine will be 1200 LVL , being Euro 360. Difinitively NOT funny. After ten minutes of talking, arguing, discussion, the policeman told me that I should get a vignet at the petrol station and that the fine was “over”. Mmmmmmm, should I give them “a tip” ? I thanked them and we went to buy the vignet. When we re-entered the A4 they were gone.
Thru Daugai > Alytus > Seirijai we ended on Camping Stovyklavite mini pastry cases “Vitruna”, highly recommended in our Best Camping book. Ahum, it’s that we were here…. Leave this camping mini pastry cases as it is and skip it from your list .
On Friday, mini pastry cases September 2, we left the Camping “Vitruna” and headed for the Polish border. Just before the crossing we were stopped by the Litovian customs . I had to show the papers of the MAN truck. Too heavy for this road and we had to go back. It appeared that the road load was max. 7500 kgs. and the papers showed our empty weight mini pastry cases of 7750 kgs., so too heavy indeed.
I didn’t tell the guy that we were in fact 10.000 kgs including all our luggage, 600 liters of diesel and 450 liters of fresh water. Anyway we turned the car and went fot the main road, number A5. And this time we bought us ourselves a one day vignet, just to be ahead of another police control….
